    Just so soThe balls were inconsistent in density. Some balls were noticeably thicker than others. This really matters when you use them as molds to make ice balls. The thinner ones will warp when the ice expands. Then again the thicker ones are harder to cut open #ohcrapInowneedstitches #callmomthebleedingwontstop . Of course, it you want to buy these to put in a ball pit, I suppose they might work. 3DONT BUY!! ALL 100 balls dented (3& ) awful!!!!!!The balls are all dented. They are as soft as stale marshmallows. I bought an Intex inflatable pool last summer and it came with 5-10 balls this size and they were nice and sturdy so I decided to get these 3 1/8 inch balls on amazon by intex instead of buying another set of 200 or 400 2.5 inch Click-n-Play balls (very sturdy and bought 2 sets already at same price but smaller balls) but these balls CAME dented without even taking them out of the package from amazon!! My daughter was excited so she tried to open it but it already was ripped along the size so when she pulled it out of the amazon box, the balls fell out all over the floor. But the funny thing is, the Balls Weren t even rolling they just stopped at their dents. So upset at the poor quality. Will try to return if amazon allows returns for this kind of product. 1Shiny Color Balls!Shiny Colored plastic balls!I used these for my Jumbo Kerplunk. (that's the game of marbles and sticks in a tube where a pull of a stick makes marbles fall)Anyway, these filled my wire cage and I had enough for a project you can find on Pinterest. I might have used 20-30 more...though I might have made the cage slimmer too. These worked fine, and come in a nice but "cheap" plastic bag. but not too cheap where the bag will rip super easily.as for BPA-free or anything like that, not sure. I don't intend for these to be eaten or licked, if they are, so be it, the child can learn They are bright and shiny. Colorful and light. if you want colorful plastic balls, these balls are for you. 5Glad I bought the larger sizeI must first say that every single one of these balls came out of the package dented. That's the reason I cannot give it 5 stars....BUT my 1 yr old doesn't care! We have a pit that's about 4' across and it doesn't even cover the bottom, but again, my 1 yr old doesn't care! He still has lots of fun in it. It's a manageable number of balls since we don't have a dedicated playroom to contain the mess. I can't imagine running after the 400 balls it would take to fill this thing. Make sure you get the correct size. These are 3 1/8". I almost order the smaller 2" some by mistake. If you are making a small ball pit you will need quite a few of these. We bought 300 and still could use another 200 balls. 4An amazing amount of fun at such a small price!!I bought a small plastic wading pool and dumped the contents of the package into the pool. My 16-month-old grandson's eyes lit up and continue to do so every time I get the pool of balls out for him. (I store it in an unused corner and only let him play with them once or twice a month. That keeps the thrill fresh and allows me to have the patience it takes to pick them all up - with his "help" of course!) He starts by sitting in the middle of the glorious colors, then flops to his belly and says, "Kick, kick, kick," as though he is pretending to be in the big pool. He throws them out, one at a time, and then dumps the pool over and dances on top of it for awhile. His exuberance is contagious! We smile, giggle, and watch him dance around... Then he puts them back in the pool and "swims" some more. He will spend hours playing with the pool and balls and they will be strung all over the family room and kitchen by the time his parents come to get him. Everybody helps to put them back in the pool and they are put away for another time. So much entertainment for such a tiny price!! 5Not the same qualityI've bought two sets of these balls. One from summer of 2016 and another set in Dec 2016, the first set was great and none of the balls were dented. The second set arrived before my daughter's birthday party with half the balls dented. I thought it was the cold weather as I live in New England, but nope. The new set I got was made of much thinner materials and a lot of the balls are are still dented a month later. Wish the good quality would have been continued. 3Disappointed so far. Bought because of Intex brand name.Bought these because they were larger and from a brand we liked, Intex. They are one of the big companied that make the inflatable beds, another plastic product. However, these balls are very flimsy, but oddly enough it's different based on the color of the ball. The green balls, almost all, have dents in them and are the thinnest / softest of them all. The dent popped out when we washed them in warm water before letting the kids play with them. A good idea for all parents with products from China or anywhere. After washing them in warm water the dents popped back out, making it round. As soon as it cooled off and was drying, the dents came back. Good or bad? I don't know. As an adult that paid for them I'd like to see them be round. They are 100% sealed so it's not a leaking issue. Probably when it get warmer they will be fine. Most likely no child jumping on them will care much. 3200 work well in a pack & playI purchased 2 - 100 ball packs of the 3 1/8" for my grandsons birthday party that is coming up. I want these to fill one of those small typical hard plastic pools that you usually find outside at Walmart or Kmart. I don't have the pool measurement just yet but to give you an idea of how many balls 200 will fill, I enclosed pictures with both 100 balls and 200 balls in a Pack n play. Once we set up the pool for the birthday party next week I will update my review. I may end up purchasing another batch of 100.These are air filled and a little soft as you can see with my soft thumb pressure in the photo below. Again, I will update this review in a week after the birthday party and we will see how these balls held up to several children.Advertised as Phthalate-free on Amazon but I do not see this anywhere on the bag. 4Do not waste your moneyTerrible, terrible, terrible approximately half the balls are poor quality that stay dented. I can't see how these would last. A few out of a hundred are real good, so you can see the potential but qc is non existent. Also nothing on the product confirms the bpa free claim. Could be a lie ? 1
