Build your Star TrekThe set is fun. The key difference between lego and megabloks is that megabloks only included the exact number of bricks required. The minifigs are a bit stiff. I recommend boiling them for a few seconds to loosen their joints. The actors likeness is pretty good for the scale. Also love how these set correlate to specific episodes. I would love to see more sets. Especially if we ever got a sick bay set. Or maybe an accessory pack. 5The figures look great, and the engineering panel looks right at home ...I bought this to compliment the Enterprise Bridge and Transporter Room sets. The figures look great, and the engineering panel looks right at home next to the other two on-ship sets in this series.My only criticism is that the sword hilts fit in the figure's hand oddly. I almost broke the hand of one of the Klingon figures before I noticed that the hilt was actually an oval shape that would only fit one direction. 4Hand issuesThe Day of the Dove is a good set to get certain characters, but I did notice one problem with it. It seems the hands of the Star Trek figures are a bit off. Specifically one hand on each character (Scotty, Chekov, and the 2 Klingons) is too tight or small to hold the swords or other Mega Bloks items. No hands have broke yet, but you can see a line inside the hand where it has been strained. So be careful when putting things in their hands. I have also noticed this with the Guardian of Forever set, where all right hands are unusable. So if you want the set for specific battle scenes, it might not work well with the hand issue, but for extra pieces to make civilian characters, it has much use. 4Great Character setNice set that gives you three official named characters and an additional Klingon. Very nice more considering other series will often put some named character in much larger and more expensive sets. Hoping we see more of these Star Trek sets. 5what's not to like!: ) JkIt's Star Trek, what's not to like! :) Jk, the pieces fit very well with Lego's to arrange them in scenes my son and I made up. 5Good deal on classic TrekI liked how this set was based on a classic episode. I just wish Scotty had a claymore like what he found in the armory rather than another cutlass.It's relatively cheap for 4 figures and a small build, and multiple quantities would be useful. It's an easy way to get Chekov for the bridge set (DPH82), which has Kirk, Spock, Sulu and Uhura instead. 5I love the detailI love the detail, very nice. I was skeptical at first because it was not LEGO. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Is Mega Bloks the Pepsi next to the Coke? I'm not so sure of that. The quality of the pieces are great. I was expecting a K-reo "loose fit" quality but the parts fit together tighter than LEGO. I know because I built many in my 47 years. Move over LEGO, MEGA BLOKS figures are fresh fun and new and you can articulate them beyond any LEGO figure and they don't break apart in your hands like K-REO figures do. Goes together quickly and easily, and is very solid once built. I appreciate the care taken to model this portion of the TOS engine room. Until this set, I hadn t realized that Scotty, Chekov, and fifty percent of Klingons were left-handed, but now I know! Excellent complement to the other sets in this series.Might we expect a Journey to Babel set with Spock s parents in front of the shuttlebay door? Matt Decker in the auxiliary bridge? Charlie Evans standing before the main viewing screen (to complete the bridge set)? The unforgettable combat scenes from Amok Time or Arena ? If not, maybe they can be tinkered together from multiple copies of these sets. 5
