Customer Reviews

Fit together much too looselyThe product arrived on time and looks nice, which is the only reason for my two stars. However, I plan on returning it. The cubes do not fit together well at all. They are way too loose and putting more than five blocks together results in the blocks breaking apart. My daughter was frustrated to tears because her block towers kept breaking as she was trying to measure or make patterns with them. I used to be a teacher and used cubes that worked perfectly for this type of stuff. They pulled apart easily, but didn t break apart easily when long towers were being made. I ll have to keep looking to try to find the same blocks I used when I was a teacher.2Old school math tools will never replace tech.My wife taught early childhood education for 32 years. These were a standard part of her math equipment so as soon as the gkids were old enough they were one of the first things she bought. We keep them in the afternoon so school continues with Gammie (K-2 32 years) and Poppa (middle/high science teacher 32 years) until their mom our daughter picks them up after work.5Tax season is comming!Had to prep before filing, made a horribly unwise investment in GE 2017, now adding up my portfolio after the bottom fell out of their market, and I realized: Why should I need a calculator when all my net returns can be added up with children's blocks? These work great! Starting over never felt so wonderful.5Perfect for elementary school counting lessons!Purchased these for my Godson's summer tutoring and immediately he stated "oh! I know what these are! We use these at school to count. They are fun!" He is entering first grade and I wanted something that was familiar, fun and easy to use. These are excellent tools for learning how to count throughout elementary school and I personally loved them when I was a kid (20 years ago...).Only complaint: wish the packaging was better. When I received it the box was already falling apart. The blocks were in perfect condition, but just a tad disconcerting. :)4Great motivation for speech therapyI got these with the intention of turning them into letter cubes like this Didax Educational Resources Unifix Letter Cubes-Small Group. I have yet to do so. I mainly use them as a reward for my kids to play with after a speech therapy session. We will count the number of letters in each speech word we practice and at the end of the session, they get to play with that many cubes. These cubes are very well-built and fit snugly together. Little hands can put them together and take them apart easily.4They are ok for the priceThey are very colorful and great for counting but not as sturdy as one would expect. I little annoying when the links don't stay together beyond three. So whe. Counting with a young person keep them flat on the surface or table, but good for the price. Just don't stand them up.3Great set for learning Common Core Math methods--durable, snap together/dissemble well, perfect for kids.I bought this for my kids, primarily for the middle child who's a kindergartener. The pieces snap together well (even my 2.5 year old can use them) and they aren't difficult to dissemble. We particularly like that each stack of 10 is a different color. It makes it easy for me to give my son different groupings and set him up with challenges while I work with his older sister on her base ten blocks set.I bought this set on the advice of a math teacher who said we need one at home to help us help our kids with the new math styles of learning. If your kids are learning Common Core math at school, you need this set at home. I just wish I had purchased and used this when my 3rd grader was starting out in Common Core math!5Perfect for Educational PurposesWe got these for our homeschool. I hate cardboard but besides the cardboard box nothing to store them in is included. They stack together but don't snap securely so they can get lost or scattered easily. I like there are 10 colors with 10 cubes in each color. They are great for teaching math, patterns, sorting, measuring and so much more.3great teaching tool for early childhood math conceptsthis is a simple standard preschool and elementary school learning tool for math concepts.I started using these with my daughter at 3 (because it entails small pieces, do not use if your children put things in their mouths). She started using them at 3 for counting and sorting by colors. she then advanced to patterns. more or less concepts. addition and subtraction and more.these unifix cubes are versatile and can be used to teach many things. this is a must have for preschool and early childhood classrooms5Fits together too looselyAs a desperate homeschooler, I bought these to help my child. My teen opened them and quickly complained that these are not like the sets we have purchased previously(and given away). Returning.1
