Great idea, poor executionAs others pointed out (and which I should have read before purchasing), the mirror is worthless, not clearly reflective but rather a type of foil material; the baby really can't see herself, which is the point. Also, the boards constantly fall out because there's no lip or channel to keep them in place. For these reasons we actually really don't use it. Overall I was actually disappointed with this product, even though I really wanted to like it. 2Great set up & qualityHave been using these from 3 months to almost 5 months and my little guy really likes them. They're life savers when he's fussy in the car and they're great for tummy time. He's started moving it around and playing with it more. Super cute. Started giving this as baby shower gifts. 5My infant really likes looking at the images and himself ...My infant really likes looking at the images and himself in the mirror. The only reason why I give this product 3 stars is because it could be a safety hazard because it doesn't stay propped up well. The magnet isn't that strong it was slips down flat. I was going to return but for the hassle of returning not worth it, I just will only use while my newborn while I'm there and i taped it to stay up. My suggestion would be for the design to be changed to have some sort of snap to keep it upright not magnet. 3Highly recommend this!My daughter is only 2 mo's old but this has been worth it. She likes the mirror but I think more interestingly she likes the art work. We're not yet using it for tummy time but I know she'll grow into it. The quality of the book is high quality and the colors are bold and striking. The added bonus is on the back of the cards with different black and white geometrical shapes, it gives my daughter something to figure out. 5Beautiful art, won't stand upThe artwork on the included cards is stunningly beautiful and captures my 4 month old's attention. The stand, however, doesn't stand up to even the slightest touch. My son likes to grab the stand and try to pull it closer to him so that's a big deal for us. As noted by other reviewers, the mirror is the reflective foil stuff and doesn't have a crisp reflection like a true mirror. However, the reflection is still good and my son reacts to it the same way he would with a real mirrored surface. 3Great quality!Absolutely love this! My 2month old is obsessed.Other reviews complained about the magnetic closure that holds it as a stand.. it can slip but we haven't had an actual issue with it.The cards really keep her interest. They are sturdy and thick and feel very smooth which she also likes. The mirror is decent quality for a child safe one. Definitely would reccomend! 5Beautiful & PracticalI love this playboard!! It is so beautiful! I love that it doesn t look cheesy like most baby toys. The cards and box stand are very sturdy and the cards have a soft finish to them. My 8 week old absolutely loves looking at the cards right now. I love that the cards are double sided, one black & white patterns; one an illustration of an animal in black, white and a color to use when they start to see more colors. I wish we had this with our first born! 53 month old loves the animals!My 3 month old is not a tummy time fan- the mos we can get out of him is 10-15 mins a day... Purchased this to help extend that time a little bit by piking his interest & he likes it. The mirror is a little fun house ish, but I expected that due to it being baby-proof. He likes the cards better than the mirror now- especially the horse, dog, & bird ones. It is a little tough to get it to tent up correctly. It has magnets that kinds snap together but they aren t super strong & it has fallen down before if he hits it strong enough.. Otherwise a great product! 5great for baby stimulationThese are great. Really good quality. helps baby lift head to focus on images. Use the black and white side more then picture side. My 5mo old just seems to like the contrast more than the animal pics. That could change as she gets older. 5Wanted to love itWas excited to receive this and use it for tummy time since my baby HATES tummy time, but loves babbling to himself in the mirror. The size and packaging of the product are perfect, but the mirror, unfortunately, is low quality. It is really just a reflective sticker , and makes objects look wonky and distorted (like a fun house at the carnival). The art cards are cute and fun for baby to look at, but I don t think they will be useful as a teaching tool as they are just too abstract and difficult for baby to distinguish which animal they represent. 1
