Good gun, but as with all motorized rapid strike ...Good gun, but as with all motorized rapid strike mechanisms, will jam time to time. The motorized rapid strike will work well if you use fresh bullets. As the bullets get abused and start losing its shape (bends, flattens, etc.), the tendency to jam will get higher and higher. Modular design is fun, it turns into many different shapes so it will make the child get bored of it less.Recommended that a large magazine is added, as the automatic action will deplete bullets very quickly. 5Great gun! We are not having any jamming issues ...Great gun! We are not having any jamming issues like other people. It works fine. Kids are getting a lot of good use out of it. I would buy extra bullets cause they will shoot through them fast and maybe buy an extra clip. 5Accurate, Tacticool, and Fun! My Favorite Blaster!This is my go-to/favorite blaster. It's very accurate for a dart blaster, especially with the waffle-head darts. I've done a few mods (removed locks, re-wired, 2s LiPo battery) and added a laser. I wouldn't want to hop it up any more than that as it occasionally rips the heads off of my precious waffle-head darts.I'm not 100% sure, but I think the flywheels are slightly canted, and I think this helps improve accuracy over some of the earlier flywheel blasters like the Stryfe. I don't have any Stryfe's or anything for comparison to back up this belief.The only drawbacks are the included accessories. The original stock is garbage, and that's where it went. I replaced it with an adjustable Modulus Storage Stock. The barrel extender is pretty blegh. It doesn't look cool, and at best it does nothing for performance. The only good accessory that came with it is the front grip, which works pretty well. The only complaint I have about that, is that it has to be removed to get into the battery compartment.Nerf rails are not quite pitcanny rails, so gun accessories don't typically fit well. In order to attach the laser, I had to put a few layers of carefully cut duct tape on the rail to build up thickness so the laser could grab hold. It's just a cheap BB-gun laser, and Nerf darts are not so accurate, so this works as well as I expected. It holds a zero and darts usually land within a 5 inch radius of the laser when fired across the office (about 5 cubicles).Overall, I recommend it. Buy extra magazines to keep feeding it darts... you'll need them. 5The best nerf gun ever!This gun is excellent.The stock does not wobble or come out and you can look into the scope without straining.You can shoot a full magazine and not jam.(it hasn't jammed yet).Although the ammunition magazine is HUGE I believe the n strike modulus is a great nerf gun you should buy. 5Its Hasbro's Strife Reshelling / Rebranding for 2015 Good base blasterIts Hasbro's Strife Reshelling / Rebranding for 2015Good base blaster, with plenty of attachment parts (all aesthetic)Very gimmicky but when you have a strong base component ie the core blaster, then it makes a little more sense to not tinker with the base, and just add to it. Plus, color/size compatible addon parts have been a community request for a long time 5Keep the instructionsI bought this toy for my 13 year old godson. It was on his Christmas wish list. He opened it at our house and thank God we kept the instructions. We (3 adults and the teenager) could not figure out where to put the batteries. When we read the directions we found out where the batteries went and that we needed to use a Phillips screwdriver to undo the compartment He loved the blaster and some of the adults did too.. 5False advertising-very disappointed boy.We paid for the Modulus ECS-10 Blaster, as advertised by the seller, with a photo of a Blaster. Not the Blaster as shown item for sale photo.Very disappointing for a boy who saved his money for the ECS-10 Blaster as depicted in photo. 1Great Nerf productThis was a gift for my 8 year old grandson. He loved it. He enjoyed changing the pieces around. The gun had good range and he was able to hit his target. I have bought more for my other grandchildren! 5It Works To Teach Life LessonsIf you are looking for your child to be massively disappointed on Christmas morning, this is the toy for you!!! Tired of those bright faces delightfully playing with their new gifts, engaging in a little Nerf warfare? Then, buy this gem. Too many times I ve bought toys and had my children be able to use them, especially toys that are midling expensive. That only teaches them a Pollyannish worldview. The real world is one never-ending ennui of broken objects and failed dreams; this present will keep giving. No better time to learn that than at age seven. Children, especially mine, have been coddled far too long. Thanks, however, to quality control, we are weaning ourselves from that dependency.
