His car was at least 1 car length ahead of every other car. Great Purchase 5Poor quality wheel axles ruined wheels.I can t tell if I like them because the nail axles that I also bought from you were so flawed that they didn t fit into the wheel holes smoothly. Unfortunately I made the mistake of pushing them through the holes of two wheels creating small ridges now on the inside of the wheel holes. I m exceedingly disappointed and now have to reorder not just new axles but new wheels. 1Very Fast!Nice!!! Light, spin well. 5Probably not gonna work...So I figured I'd step up my game a bit more this year and help my little brother with his odds at actually winning the pinewood derby for once but these wheels combined with some other aftermarket pre-polished axles caused the car to NOT EVEN REACH THE FINISH LINE!! Even with tons of graphite -_-To say I'm disappointed is an understatement...Moral of the story - these may or may not help, can't confirm due to catastrophic failure. Read below.This is my first time ever writing a review but I felt compelled to provide some guidance for those contemplating the $24.95 purchase. Outside of a $6.00 tube of graphite powder, I purchased these wheels and the cylinder tungsten weights. Usually I am of the DIY mindset but unfortunately did not have access to the lathe/CNC machinery.My son won all ten heats and took first place overall. Average speed was just over 197 MPH with an average time of 2.50 seconds. I believe that these wheels had an impact on his car s performance.My only complaint is that we found these wheels to be difficult to align. After spending over two hours on race day attempting to correct a significant pull to the left, we gave up and submitted a misaligned race car. I am unsure if I can attribute this problem to the wheels or us being novices and getting impatient/frustrated with the alignment process.My advice if you want to win would be to purchase these wheels and ensure that you allocate enough time prior to the race for the alignment.
